  1. High Mr. Zitto, thank you for the document and your reply on oil and gas policy. This is the only time we have to ensure the manipulators do not cross this line. You have written that the ministry and its minister ignored 2012 directive to freeze the licensing activities, however they ignored this, that means they ignored the entire country expectations, this is sufficient for the MPS to demand is resignation, secondly you should discuss with other MPS to immediately form a special committee to deal with natural resources policies and implementation, commercialization, revenue collection and utilization. As you mentioned , the first criteria and requirement is 100% participation of Tanzania in the exploration and entire process. Secondly the revenue collected should be divided to a) re-investment in the same sector, b) investment in development programs, c) reserve. this is equally important to reserve 20% to30% of total revenue future use in case of any unwarranted situation. I have never seen such irresponsible minister, who is ignoring exploration the main pillar of oil and gas. Is short sighted and think small quick gains. These government people knows that 2015 their term of services will be over, so their deliberately rushing things up, to ensure they gain corrupt bribes from foreign iol and gas companies before they leave office. This is the only objective in their minds. We are duty bound to stop them for the interest of Tanzania citizen. Thanks, all the best.

  2. Thank you sir for sharing the document. It is quite useful and resourceful as well. I echo my friend Alex Kakala who left a comment above on the issue of Tanzanian ownership. This will not only spur national progress but also the ownership will mean more innovation and curbing corrupt deals between the government and the so called investors.
