Some Books I read in 2013
These are some of the books I read last year. Reduced by almost half from 2012 due to the fact that 2013 was a challenging year for me. I have started a column on Raia Tanzania newspaper every Monday that analyses some of the books I have read. I encourage people to read it and even write on it as guest columnists. So I have done three; One man’s view of the world of Lee, Chimamanda’s Americanah and Nyoka’s A Hill of Fools. Below is my 2013 list.

Its time for Tanzania youth to start reading and do some research and not sticky into only bloody talk and behave as intellectuals,am a big fan of Achebe he’s works are master pieces!

I like reading myself,i can call myself a book worm.I have read Chinua Achebe’s Arrow of God.It’s one of my fav.I am still looking for Nyerere’s Mabepari wa Venisi a swahili translation of Shakespeare’s The Merchants of Venice.

What a great politician Allah has made through Chadema(the youth’s choice)i wish to read the book”the fools hill”,i will make efforts to find it.Anyway i know this might not sound very good here but ok!let me give out my utmost feelings.Chadema is a great part and we all know that,a lot has been said and more will be said,you have spent most of your time and resouces building the part,this is well appreciated and encouraged the rage going on in the part is never health even if this is the so said normal happenings in grown ups and well matured Institutions like Chadema.I believe you can still make it up with the part and give the Tanzanians the great pleasure and assurance to the part since they have giant positive image of the chadema and you Zitto.You have spent much time with the leadership team building chadema why come to an end like this?you all belong to chadema for the good of Tanzanians, why your mission should be shaken this much?Make peace and not grudges.
