    An interesting presentation, thanks for sharing. Ila naomba nigusia hiyo nakuu ya Mwalimu Nyerere: its interesting that he states what he does and yet formulates a policy and social institutions which “give” people things. Until this day the mentality of many mwananchi when presenting a problem (which i see it arising from the CCM one-party-state-ujamaa construct) is typicallly “the government should do so-and-so for us”).

    So as much as the germans can help us i think we, as Tanzanians, need to learn to help ourselves and take responsibility for our destiny for the quality of government is a reflection of who we are. As someone as said elsewhere: “you get the government you deserve”.
