“Ideas travel, we see how others live and make a difference, we wonder ‘if they can do it, why can’t we?,’ we learn lessons, we make meaning, we craft tools, we organise, we act.”

On November 15 2012 I took part in the launch of ‘Ni Sisi’ – a new campaign by Twaweza which promotes the idea that citizens can bring about change themselves, rather than waiting for governments, politicians, donors or NGOs to do it for them.

Read more about the campaign here – and check out the videos below:

  3. Every great nation have gone through changes which the citizen themselves saw a need to it and not the government or an other association pressure, my advice on this would be in PARTNEERING with other citizen driven organisation , students organisation such as AIESEC to join force in promote and educating the Tanzania citizen of their part in the national wise change, great effort, a nice inspiration to the young ones, we will keep this one alive.
