with 3 comments

Chatting with manual labourers who are digging the national Internet backbone into the ground. Each paid less than half a dollar a day. Will these labourers ever know the full impact of their hard work? Photo from the road between Mpanda Town and Uvinza Township.

  2. Bw Zitto this a very important photo and comment. It will be of historical importance for future cyber-generations, just the same as for example old railroad workers photos of the Kenyan railway. Pernilla has a photo of a beacon on her site and a link to your blog. That goes well together. Thank you!

  3. This is a great work. You have to make sure that it will be used by the people. Don’t leave any company take control of that!
